Black River Alumni Decide Theme: “We Are the Champions”

The Black River Alumni Officers decided on this years parade theme, “We are the Champions”, at their meeting on Thursday, February 8 th, held at Fletcher Memorial Library. This year’s theme celebrates the accomplishments and champions of today and yesterday. Also decided at the meeting were plans for a gala dance party on Saturday, June 16 th and an Alumni parade and barbecue on Sunday June 17 th. It’s not too early to mark your calendar for these events, and to contact fellow alumni to begin planning for the weekend. More details will follow the next meeting which is scheduled for Thursday, February 15 th, 6 p.m. at the Fletcher Memorial Library.
