e-Portfolio

What is an e-Portfolio?

A student portfolio is a sampling of a student's work designed to highlight the student's best work, demonstrate the student's progress over time, make the work available for evaluation, showcase achievements, and/or provide opportunities for the student to reflect on his or her work.
The Electronic Portfolio is very much the same as a traditional paper portfolio, but it is created electronically (on the computer). As much of the work you do for your classes is already in electronic format, creating the e-Portfolio is relatively simple. Creating an e-Portfolio vs. a traditional portfolio, makes the portfolio neater, easier to find materials included, it can be shared with family and friends that are not geographically nearby, and is more fun to build. It's easier too, to add your own personal style.
